My art is a personal exploration to find surprises within each new project. The end product is meant to produce a question within a wow for the observer. I like to use unusual materials and work on challenging surfaces.

My first love was metal sculpture, welding I beams, not cute, but breathing good air became a priority and using acrylic paints is so much easier, so I moved on.

I have studied with many wonderful artists in Atlanta and Memphis, and have been a part of several groups of artists sharing studios with a gallery in Los Angeles, and Reston, Virginia, which is my most enjoyable state of being as an artist.
